Default Question about Wheel Spacers and Spoon Calipers

I am hoping to purchase the Spoon calipers soon, but I am unsure if they will fit under my WORK wheels without spacers (I doubt they will). What is the best way to tell if they will fit before purchasing? How do you go about determing the size of wheel spacers needed?

My tires are not actually up inside the wheel-well, but there doesn't seem to be much space between the outside edge of the tire and the fender. Who is using wheel spacers (what size?) on a lowered car (not slammed) without problems?

Last question: where is the best place to buy H&R wheels spacers? I don't see them on the Tirerack site.

Options seems to have the cheapest H&R wheel spacers.

.....if you will measure and take a pic of the distance from your rotor to the closest part of your inner rim, I will try to estimate if your wheel would clear.

It'll be close - judging from the offset you have, but the real determining factor is the shape of the spokes.

Cool, I'll do that.

For those that said they would fit, what makes you so sure?

How do these compare with the 15 x 7.5 SSR Comps in offset and spoke curvature.
I know for a fact that the SSR's fit over my Smurf calipers w/o spacers or any other such issues.

No, I'm not sure of the offset on the SSR's, but their sitting around here somewhere and I'll take another look inside the wheels in a bit,
though when I looked the other day it was hard to tell which number was the offset since none seemed appropriate. Ed

There is ~ a bit over 4.5 cm from the rotor to the wheel spoke.
Here are some photos. Any help knowing if the Spoon calipers will fit is appreciated.

most likely it won't fit, and as SuperTwinz posted... he still needs spacers with a 16x7 wheel

I just finished taking some pics (unfortunately both Imagestation and We-Todd are down), but also measured the distance from the rotor surface to the inside of the stock ITR wheel's spoke.

It's about 2.0" needed to clear the Spoon caliper using the stock wheels.
Yeah, looks like you might need a spacer ... Ed

Yea, I was pretty set on the fact that I most likely needed to use spacers. What about my other questions...

I think the Emotion CR's with that offset clear due to the different design of the wheel. The RSZ-R's flux has is a 2-piece design with the spokes sitting nearer the calipers then the 1-piece CR's, so there isn't sufficient clearance for the spoon calipers w/o running spacers...
