Removing Airbag Warnings From Visors?
For some reason I have this need to remove the airbag warnings from the visors. Has anybody done this? I thought they were just stickers, but it looks like it is more than that - any suggestions?

I"m pretty sure acetone works...I remember someone, I think it was D, doing this...check his website under mods...it should be there.

acetone is some crazy stuff, don't get it on your paint.
it doesn't evaporate quickly.
as for the visor, if you want to keep them in, try to find some < 97 visors. I have a 97 gsr and don't have any airbag warnings. may check that route out.
good luck

Really? The Dealer needs to put them back on?
no way... I mean, we are the owner...
I thought, cosmetic stuff like tags that comes with a pillow or anything usually says: Do not remove except by customer...
but well.. who knows.. heheh..

Its federally mandated to have those on.
our site is down right now... acetone works, just be sparing wif it... it's a solvent, and will 'melt' your plastic if you use too much.
nail polish remover is dilute enough, so you don't have to worry bout it too much.

i covered my airbag warning up, http://www.b18c5.com/images/jd6.jpg i figured i would put something cool over it seing i don't have bags anymore.....
I can't believe that this is a federal law...I would be pissed at the dealership for even attempting to replace this...MY CAR, I say what stays on it, not them.
i still have my stupid driver side one, but im tall<6'4> so i usually have no need for em but on the passenger side i used the big WARNING and got a yellow sticker that says "FREAK" and covered the rest..its odd but the sticker was almost the exact size and covered it perefectly...looks like it came that way...
Need acetone? we got barrels of it at work, need MEK, got that too. Get it on your hands and it feels like ice cold water, evaporates fast too. but, yea, acetone is in nail polish remover too...

yeah, that's where i got the idea. they don't have a "actual" sticker, don't bother calling them. i drew it up myself.
