well here goes i need to get it working.
i searched and it did help to much.
tried to change clusters to see if it help.......nope
checked to see if vss is working.................yep

the only thing i can think of is that there is a ground some where in the blu/wht+gray dots wire. the wire sending back the info.

i am no wiring genius but i don't think that when i hook up a voltmeter thing to it, and i send power through the wire. i can touch a any metal on the car and it'll show a connection?

is that suppose to happen. i thought it was suppose to be sheilded and everything?

any help will be cool. plus i just got back from the garage and damn its cold

 

The vss has 3 wires coming from it.

yel/blue
yel/wht (send)
blk (ground)

The yel/wht wire should go from the sensor the the clip. then it changes color to yel/blue from the clip on to the ecu. the yel/blue going in the ecu should be pinned in B10. the blk can be grounded to the chassis

This is information for a 92-95 civic harness.

Im not exactly clear on what your asking. But if your throwing a code for VSS. Check the ground. Reset you ecu. See if your still throwing the code.

 

the ground is fine.
i don't know how many times i reset the ecu lol tryin to fix it

i think the vss out/signal wire has a ground on it some where
somewhere told me to try and directly wire the vss to the cluster and see if that'll work. if so that would mean that my wire has a ground...i think

 

Ouch....sorry bro not sure on that one. B18C5-EH2 should be able to answer that one though.
