Blown Radiator HELP
The radiator on my dads Honda Oddessey LX 1997 blew out a couple of days ago and the engine doesn't start anymore. I tried filling the radiator up with water to see if the van even starts, but it didn't. The radiator has a crack on the top. I got a new radiator but I'm not sure if replacing that will solve the problem.
The engine has a lot of mileage on it and it should be replaced. What is a good place to buy a used Honda Motor? I'm looking for a 97 Oddessey LX Motor. I believe the engine code is F22B6. I can't figure out why the engine doesn't start. Will replacing the radiator solve the problem? Any suggestions will help.

The reason it will not start/run is because the rings have been overheated and lost their "springiness" which results in no compression. It will more than likely require a rebuild with at least with oversize pistons, rings and boring. Plan on replacing the crank bearings while you are in there. You may be ahead by trying to find another engine.
Thanks for the info guys. I'm having a diagnostics done today to find out exactly whats wrong.
I think the head gasket might be blown also because the oil is like a chocolate milky color. Is it true if the oil turns that color that the head gasket could be blown. What are some other signs of having a blown head gasket?

I imagine you will find more than just a blown head gasket. If that is all that you find then you should consider yourself real lucky. It is all going to depend on how far it was driven after the radiator blew out. If it was driven till the engine quit running then figure worst case (cylinder head and lower end rebuild). Not quite worse case would be warped cylinder heads which can also result in the color coolant/oil you are having. I will be surprised if all it is is the head gasket.
