ah.... spent a good part of my working day doing some DIY amber corners on my DC2.

I used Tamiya Acrylic model paint bought at your regular hobby store.
I wish they had it in rattle-cans there... but this did the job.
my only worry is that it is water-soluble(washes off easy when paint is wet)
BUT... im having a hard time getting the dried paint off my desk!!!
So im thinking it will be okay...... if not.... oh well... i have an extra set of corners sitting here

I only did 2 coats, but it looks DAMN good!!!! .

how did you separate the lens from the housing? I tried the oven method on my stockers, and it appears as if the adhesive is not like the adhesive for the head and tail lights.

 

lol.. ya sorry i took 3 hours...

anyway.. i just did the outside... didnt bake them...
