Just thought I would get some opinions on what tranny I should use. I have a DA Integra so I need to use a cable tranny.My build is GSR Bottom with Crower Rods, JE Pistons, ITR head, and T3/T4 Hybrid Turbonetics turbo that I will use to run around 12 pounds. My thoughts are to use a Y1 LSD tranny and maybe modify the gear ratio a little. Any Thoughts?

 

i also have a DA and for the most part any cable vtec tranny will do just fine. I have a y1 tranny i bought from a friend. it has a s1 3rd gear and an ls 5th. Just make sure not to run the ls cable and you will be fine. However i was still able to break into the 12's with only 238whp and the ls tranny.

as far as getting a tranny with the factory lsd you might be better off to save your money and get a non lsd tranny and upgrade to a quaife.
