During the past couple of months, I've practically destroyed the interior of my R to make room for my new beautiful and sexy interior that I've been planning since I first acquired my R. After theft of a lot of things and selling the rest of them, I finally have begun the transfer to the new interior starting with a few simple JDM components. The Airbag tray, the Clock blocking thing, and the e-brake cover were installed a couple of weeks ago. And today, the door panels went in. I decided to go with the JDM door panels because without a radio there's no reason for speakers and the US door panels of course have to have the cutouts for the tweeters. So now I have the really sexy looking Type R door panels but without holes in them. Tune in next week and I should have the Nardi steering wheel in. Here are some pics, Hope you enjoy.

Why not just get the RS door panels? Seems like a watse of money to say I have JDM door panels

The Type R door panels have a different insert that is specific to the Type r panels. If I bought the RS panels, I'd have to reupholster the insert with the same material that is used on the Type R ones.

How come that panel looks dented right where all the window controls are.. like where it starts to curve?

You could have got RS panels and changed the inserts .

Some importer down the freeway from me was going to throw like 8 sets away...EVEN some 4 door ones!! I got them for basically free
