back from the track , why my R so slow ?? :(

Default back from the track , why my R so slow ?? :(

only managed to get 2 runs

#1 :
14.5 @ 96.68mph , 2.339 60-foot

#2 :
14.6 @ 97.27mph , 2.314 60-foot

its a stock standard 96-spec R

i was running RE01 tires , looks like im gonna need some more practice

96 spec? I'm guessing you don't live in the US?

There is nothing wrong with your car, just the 60' times. You need to work on your launch. With those trap speeds you can run VERY low 14's. Heck I've hit 14.1's with 97mph trap speeds.

i havent done anything to it

i just took the front passenger recaro out and some craps in the trunk, the engine has done 112000km

and yeah i dont live in the states

i launched the car at 3500-4000rpm , i dumped the clutch straigth away , i didnt slip it at all

should try to score some BFG drag radials ??? any of you know wheres the best place to get them from ??? ( cheapest )

your times are not bad at all, and damn, your car looks freaking sweet.

Can't complain. Best Motoring video R debut on 10/95 :
96specR 0-400m were 14.7sec.
98specR 0-400m were 14.2 sec on 8/97

your times are straight especially if your car is stock.

throw slicks on there. you'll see 13.5-13.7 time slips.

yeap.

with 2.0 60's (attainable on street tires as well) your 14 flat if not better all day, impressive for a stock Integra without the junk in the trunnk

i was running 17-18psi on my RE01

looks like i need more practice , and it was my first time on the track as well with this car

By any chance do you have a timeslip of an ITR that ran mid 13s, bone stock on slicks?
