Yo, probably if you got a custom box made. I assume this is a street car for impressing the ladies? I have 2 12's in mine but I had to get a smaller box made, which I can take out if I go to the track.

you could probably fit 8 12" subs in an integra, it's all about how you make the enclosure for it....also depends on what else you have in mind for the system...I had a false floor built for my setup...here's a pic if you were interested.

I don't think I would put a sub in my ITR. I might consider getting a small light amp (what, mabye 2-3 lgs) and a good set of speakers to replace the stock crap system.

go with the Infinity bass cube. Its a really small amp, enclosure, and a 10" sub with passive radiatior all in one! Its light and easy to remove.
I have a huge system in my R, however its been removed for awhile since I'd rather have performance before bass. Put it this way, a good 2-12" sub and box setup will weight around 90lbs, plus 20-30lbs in amps. Thats like 110-120lbs of weight. Or like one passanger in your car at all times. I would just get a small light weight setup IMO. I would add no more then like 50lbs of equipment. If you were really ****, just take out the rear seats when you race, and you'll lose like 30lbs, to in total you will only have like a 20lbs gain, which isn't bad.

I agree... Why buy an R with removed weight just to put back another 200lbs? What a waste!

I agree w/ you, but my whole system only weighs like 75-80 lbs max...all that wood in my car is thinner than cardboard...

A bit is ok. I respect those that like a good stereo system and 80lbs can be removed when needed. I've gone through that phase too. I was mostly refering to 4 12 inchers in an ITR. What can't you do with a 10 or 12 that you can with 4 12's except annoying people on the street?

I also respect those that have competition systems to compete with, but please don't do it to an R!! BTW, it's just my opinion and please don't consider it a flame. It's still your car and not mine so I have no right to tell others what to do anywayz!

that´s well put if I would go in this stereo game, I would get Infinity Kappa speakers and just one amp to power that, just such a great sound the Infinity´s give.

The former owner of my car had a serious audio system, but I dont get why, I also know a guy that´s getting 2x 12", heavy 17" rims, wingswest kit and altezza´s.. now that´s a shame but it´s his car

I made those from scratch using MDF Fiberglass bondo MBQuart speaker rings and the plastic panels When I finish painting them (its a European paint that I get that comes out looking and feeling like the plastic parts in the car. The drivers side one extends just to the right of the dead pedal (must be removed)

Dont get me started
It was supposed to be ready for NOPI but I found out on Tuesday after all the horrific news that the Connecting rods from Eagle were mislabeled, I ended up getting the rods and finding out they were not ground correctly and were too wide. New rods should be here this week.
Damn thing better be on the road by next week

Yes they are somewhat, Jeff is it worth it to line the interior of the kicks with Dynamat?

Damn no luck huh? Chris at Custom couldn't find anything either. I guess Im gonna have to go searching, or try the 4"

Anything to reduce resonance will help. I'd stick a piece or so behind there. I'd get rid of the existing plastic on the kickpanel though and maybe get stick some darcon behind there to reduce any standing waves....or something.

I gotta start working on my enclosure again. I'm so lazy. I'll probably end up doing a single 10W7 of my Xtant 301a. At least I have the fiberglass tub done. I just have to get some motivation. I'll probably end up changing my front stage first... I still have my 218.61Qs I got over 2 years ago that still haven't made it into the car. I blame it on those Molex connectors. (The new Civics are pretty weird.. They have speakers with plastic baskets and what appears to be a Neodynium magnet. Plastic rear decks too.....Bzzzt!!

Yeah, Select is pretty much the only people we go through...

I had thought about putting the stereo I always wanted in the R. I never had the room in the MR2. But it just seemed like a waste since it would hurt performance. I simply installed an aftermarket radio (had to have an MD player in the R too), and it sound was noticeably better than the stock one. The stock speakers sound pretty good. They just don't have any low end.
