i have owned so many decks it is insane, i change them like underwear b/c i have friends in the audio industy lol...anyway, the 919 is hands down my favorite non-tv/dvd unit i have used (so far) and i have had many that some would say are "better" b/c they cost more...i had the kenwood 959 before it and ditched the 959 b/c i liked the 919 better (rotary volume **** is much better IMO) even though the 959 is more $...i also tried the 969 and its like a toy...it was in one of my cars for 1 week and i changed it out for the 911dvd unit since it is my show car. i'm sad to see that kenwood is going towards pioneers style with tons of display crap that isn't needed and just makes the unit look like a toy with these flip down/slide out faces...BAH. I was and still am a big fan of kenwood but the next deck i buy will be an alpine 9815. so, in short, you should be very happy with the 919, very nice unit!!
