Cybernation

Not even a complete "Bolt On" Kit

For $4000, I would expect higher quality. Their manifold is garbage. They just throw you a bunch of U bends and other pipes here and there. You end up cutting stuff here and there. You also need to drop the motor a bit for ease of installation.

Have fun installing it

i would. i just wouldn't pay a great deal for it. just clean up the ports. at least you don't have to worry about the welds being weak . lol

in an N/A application everyone that i know who has a JDM ITR Header got it welded in the same place as soon as they got it. my point is...sometimes you have to clean things up, reinforce or support some of the parts you buy. oh well. good luck.

Not true they prolly got the metal too hot by staying in the same place and it will crack due to inconsistancys in the weld They should sand that **** down and jet hot that **** to make it look presentable.

Maybe Cody/Tinker219 can start making some manifolds for the RSX?

that manifold looks fine for a backyard welder / turbo kitter, but to claim it as professional, or to sell it as part of a $4000 kit, is pretty sad.

I donno since your that close to them maybe you should get in with them. They turboed my integra it runs hard and strong. I mean my piping does not look the greatest or anything and my mainifold is ok. The car performs pretty good. And they are a bunch of good guys so if you can you should try to get in good with them.

Thats the manifold for hytech. They're charging 1600 for it. Which is out of the price range of most people. I think hytech is just waiting for the aem ems to come out, before their kit gets released.

did you not see the checklist which has been included with the package? you are supposed to make sure you have everything before you start the installation. anything you are missing they will send out to you FREE. the kit includes over 50 different peices..

no instructions? you are advised to call them and talk to them.. however the kit is pretty straight forward..

spacers and bolts for the fuel rail??? you mean a FLANGE?

FYI, cybernation was the only successful company to peice together a kit for the rsx.. they beat out GREDDY AND REVHARD which both had problems since the beginning.. in fact, cybernation FIXED the greddy kit for many people..

do some more research before you flame.. the k20a2 is not a simple engine to boost.. i think you see that now.. there is very little space to work with and the subframe has to be droped in order to get the parts in correctly.. everything has to line up the right way or else you fcuked up the installation and you have to re-do it again.. the charge pipes run behind the radiator, why was this hard for you? motormounts must also be installed to keep the engine from rocking too much..

what other problems did you have? i dont see how u can blame cybernation when there is a check list right there so that you can make sure u have everything before you start.. cybernation is also on standby to help you over the phone, they will help you from start to finish if you need it..

there are 3 rsx's in nova pushing 400whp with the cybernation kit.. no other company has a "kit" that comes close..

the kit was designed the way it is so that in the future it can be easily upgraded for more power, however, it is a pretty basic and straight forward design..

yes, the manifold needs some cosmetic work, but it works and its strong.. thats all the matters.. the way the k20 sits in the rsx, you cant even SEE the manifold..

oh btw? if your wondering why cybernation closed doors, it was because they decided to move the company up 1 more step and focus solely on designing kits.. their customer support is insanely good.. what more are u asking for???

some reason i dont believe they closed down. i can make a couple calls and find out later today.

they sure do blow up a lot of **** though. interesting thing is that they know blown upmotors = $$$ for them, so of course they're going to stand there at the dyno and say "yeah, i think you can push a few more psi safely".... BOOM! then "hey we can build that motor for ya. just push your car into the back lot with the others and have someone come pick you up. leave us $5k and see you in 6 months."

i am not saying thats what they do, cause i've only hung out there one afternoon, but thats basically the mode of operation they were in.

and black magic? here piggy piggy(back)
