whats a good camber kit that does not squeals and is okay to autocross with?
Any opinions? My cambers are about -1.25 to -1 all around.
i jsut had to replace my front 2 tires cause of massive inner tire ware....
my re730 had a little more then 20k mile and a lot of meat left, but the inner ware was a goner....

I jus picked up a camber kit from specialty products. They have a groupbuy on them right now. I bought a whole A-arm replacement that adjusts for camber and caster. Very nice quality, looks almost OE.
Check it out here.

You really don't have that much negative camber. It's almost like stock. Check your toe settings that could be your problem. King Motorsports makes the only camber kit that really works.
LOL, Minty isn't in GS anyway!
-1.25 and you are having tire wear problems?
IT sin't the camber that is a problem.
Have the toe checked. Have you gotten an alignmentlately? Do you ever rotate your tires? What tire pressure do you run and do you check it OFTEN?
I run -2 degrees of camber and 1/4" total toe out in the front and don't have tiure wear problems. I do rotate the tires every 1500-2000 miles and I watch my tire pressure like a hawk. I run RE730's at about 33-34 psi. I race them at 38-39 psi.
I don't think you need a acamber kit I think you need an alignment and to rotate!

carlex: yeah i do rotate ever other oil change , 7000miles...
its realy weird. these tires have 300 tread ware,
the last time i got an anlinment was 9 months ago....maybe thats the thing?
According to the dealer ship, my camber and toe were very close to facorty specs, but that was 9 months ago.
here are a couple recent pictures of my car......camber doesnt look bad at all...maybe i just need to get it aligned

I agree with Trey. I had 2 degrees or just over that of negative camber and I had ZERO inner tire wear. I just corner weighted the car and aligned it. I also rotate tires every 3-4000 miles.
I have put 19,100 miles on my car in the last 11 months and 2 weeks.
The key I think is TOE. Have them check it again. Camber should be ok up to -2. Also how low is your car?

My camber settings are kinda like yours ( -1.3 front/-0.75 rear) and I don't have uneven wear with wider and way softer tires than stock. I got my toe settings aligned with me sitting in the driver's seat and little over half a tank of gas. That way my toe settings are aligned with the same approximate weight in the car as the car sees everyday.

i just had my car cornerweighted and will have it alighned soon. i will post pics when i get them up on the site. as far as camber adjusters, i use Skunk2 upper c/arms in front, and a J's racing of japan rear camber kit. for J's products, go to www.racingcraft.com i think they are about $200 for the set. they are hard durometer rubber, and won't squeak like the ingalls i had prior.
My car had 48000 miles on it. A lot of people have bad toe in or out and they think the camber is causing tire wear. They are wasting their money on a camber kit. If you want to correct camber in the rear just use washers and longer bolts. Almost free and does the job just fine.
Minty,
Come to Torrance, There is an alignment shop called West End Alignment. You are advised to sit in the car while Darrin does the alignment. Lots of So Cal guys go through him.
