Default what cluster?.....(searched)

Hey all, well I just got my underdash harness (99 GSR) for the R and now I'm left to wonder what is the best cluster to use? Search results only led me to possibly year specific plug and plays, does anyone know the right swap info? I don't have another cluster to swap green films from so that's out. I am looking at a CDN model for a little difference. Finally, will any year USDM ITR swap right over to my GSR harness? thanks for any help...................... hans->

edit: oh ya, my car is still utilizing the 97 car harness that will plug into my 99 dash(if that matters.....)

if your wondering which cluster will plug right in to your harness and work,
just get a cluster that is the same year as the harness 99. any model is ok as long as it came out of the same year.
if you use a different one you could re-pin your harness to make it work but you will need a wiring diaghram.

So a 99 JDM (or CDN) ITR will plug and play? Is every year different? or is there a grouping of years?

any year integra cluster will plug in. but the difference is pin locations. 94-97 same for sure, not sue which are the same on 98,99,00.

What he said. I'm pretty sure that it will just plug right up, but if it doesn't then it won't be any more complicated than lengthening a handful of wires. I'm pretty sure that it will just plug up, rather I'm 99.9% sure.

I have an R cluster in my 95 gsr, but I dont know what year it came from. It was plug and play and everything works on it. I am guessing a 97 R though because I dont know if the 98 and up cars changed or not?
