Default loud pistons?????

went to test drive a 2000 r last night and there was a loud. knock but he said it was the pistons they are juust loud. they were arias 11:5:1 compression pistons and eagle pods. it also has a jun valve train. I have never heard of this till last night. is it true or is it possibe that the valves are bent. It also has a jun ecu.

It probably has bigger injectors and thats what you heard. Assuming its the same sound I have, it sounds normal to me...

Sometimes forged pistons have "piston slap" till they warm up.
Should go away (not be noticable) after operating temps are reached.

it doesnt sound like the injectors. He said they were still stock. also when you rev it out to 9600 and shift quickly the oil light comes on for a split second. is this due to oil starvation. would i need to upgrade the oil pump.

no point in revving it out that high unless its actually making power that high. if the oil light comes on, I would definitely check the oil.

Forged pistons are louder in general {I think?he he} You better check that oil thing out though. 9K with a lack of oil is a no no
