Default rota slipstream wheels

hey guys, i was browsing around and came across these rota rims. i knew they had a spoon look a like but these actually look pretty damn good. given that they weigh in at 12.5 lbs, i think it would be a great solution.

i was just wondering what your guys's input would be on these rims.

If those are the Rota wheels in the image, it looks to be dead on a Spoon wheel. There is another knock off Spoon wheel that doesnt have the lines between the spokes with a square valve cut. These Rota's have the Jwa stamp, lines around the spokes, round valve stem and what appears (from the pic) like a sticker that resembles the desmond one. It isnt as light and strong, but for 4 bills what do you expect. A jdm 4-1 costs more!

Hmmmmm...those would make nice winter wheels, while my genuine spoonies take a break....

That is if I had spoonies...

Gunmetal:

Just picked them up last night

They're dark, the gunmetal is much darker that ITR gunmetal. They have a hint of bronze in them too . . .

My little bro campaigned a set of Rota's on his Miata Turbo.

He had nothing but good things to say about them: reasonably light, and he didn't break one on the track, so they are fairly strong. Where can we look at these?

I am also very interested in their quality. Does anyone else have any experience or comments on these wheels?

the person selling on gbc said that mid september would arrive their 5x114.3 pattern. i think that was for a certain color though. maybe the flat black like spoons rims are already out in that bolt pattern? anyone else have info to add on these wheels?

Their website only says that the 15" gunmetal spoonies are out in 15x114.3. Heck I'd rather have the guns, they look sweet.
