Default rear strut/pillar bar and rear sway bar...

is it a fact that a rear strut bar and a c-pillar bar will help the cause dealing with subframe tear from a bigger sway bar? Sorry I have this debate with my friend and I wanted to hear other people's opinions, thanks.

I hope your friend is the one who thinks it will and you're the voice of reason saying that makes no sense. I suppose if the whole subframe was ripping out of the car, it might make some difference, but the problem is the threads ripping out of the subframe itself. The threads are not strong enough for a big bar, so the load has to be spread to the LCA mounts which are way heavier.

Tell him that putting in urethane engine mounts will keep him from tossing rods and see if he believes that too.

Yeah, a strut bar and c-piller bar do nothing to reenforce the subframe.
