Default b17 what mods?

i have a b17 i just pulled it from my teg. and it is going to have a new home in my crx. i have i/h/e. i was wondering what other mods should i do? i was thinking of going all motor and putting in ctr pistons and cams. since the b17 has a low as comp of 9.6:1 and the pistons would take the cr up to like 11.3 or so. i probably don't want to spend over $1500. and i want to get a clutch and flywheel and may be a itr intake manifold. i don't know about going with a junkyard turbo because my engine is kind of old and i need it to last for a while.

Use the jdm b16 y1 w/ lsd since it has a LSD and it doesnt grind?
Definetly upgrade the pistons if you want NA.
If you want to boost give it a comp test and if it is good all across why not? Age means nothing and condition is everything.

i haven't used the y1 yet so i really don't know. i hate deciding what to do with my car so many options. i might just put the b17 in stock and save up all the money for the parts either na or fi. i guess i'll have to decide some time.

Y1 tranny has lower final drive than gsr tranny. lsd would be nice though.

lower final drive will make your car accelerate slower but have a higher top speed. There is a link around somewhere that shows different ratios. ys1 is same gears as usdm itr and the y1 is the same as ls with shorter 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear.
