Wheel/ Offset question for '98 Prelude
Anyone know what offset would be best for a '98 Prelude?
I am looking to get 18 x 7.5 wheels.
What would be best for 18 x 8 wheels? Anyone running a staggered set-up? Thanks

why???
38-35 for 18*7.5
don't think you can squeeze 8's in without 1500lb spring rates. actually i don't know any company making 18x8 for hondas.

Anybody running 18 x 7.5 with +42 offset? I'm thinking of getting some wheels with these specs. Car is dropped 1.5in. Any problems with this set-up?
You may have already got your wheels by now but you can get plenty of 18x8 rims for an 98 prelude. I have a 98 also, I had 18x8 zenetti's on there and now have 18x8 rss s-5 rims. The offset on the zenetti was 42. My current offset is 45. I have heard people say you will have rub with offsets under 48 but I never had a problem.

your wheels will stick out beyond the fender, and chances are you'll rub. with an 18x7.5 you're gonna want a +48-52mm offset. it also depends on what tires you're going to choose, but +42mm offset ain't gonna do u right.
im running 18x7.5" with a 42mm offset. Wrapped in 225/40/18 tires. Hell yeah they rub, but then the car is lowered over an inch, w/ TEIn SS's so, do what you thik is best, what you wanna do, and if youre intersted in my wheels and tires, theyre for sale....5Zigens.......

40 offset will put the wheel exactly on the outter edge of the fender for the front. 18" rims are never a good choice for a prelude. Go with 16s you'll save money when purchasing new tires.
