Default Heater sometimes smells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the times when i have my heater on it's fine, but there has been a couple of times in which my heater just starts smelling for at least a couple of days. Does anyone know what might be causing this. By the way i have a 94 Accord Ex.

try having your radiator flushed. i had the same problem once and it worked for me. not a guarantee though but worth a try.

what does it smell like? if it just stinks then there is probably something in your vents. if it smells like a sickenly sweet smell then that is antifreeze and you will most likely have to replace the heater core soon.

It is hard to explain it, but after smelling it for a few minutes it makes it hard to breath and my thoroat gets a little sore.

maybe you have a bad heater core ... does the window fog up when you have the heater on ? does it smell kinda sweet if yes then your heater core is trash if no is your answer to those questions then spray lysol in your vents that gets rid of mold that maybe groing in your vents

and NO a radiator flush will not get rid of the smell that was the funniest comment i have read today.... the heater is a sealed unit so how would the smell come from the coolant if it is sealed
