Could anyone please tell me the stamp markings on the NA1 or NA2 calipers. Mine have the following markings 16CL and 15VN. These do not clear my 15" wheels so Im thinking I got the 96 and up calipers.

I do need to buy some NA1 calipers so if your selling your spare set, let me know a price. Or I have the NA2 from Japan with 15,000Kl on them (looks brand new)-I could send you a pic.

Are they supposed to clear your wheels? What wheel and offset are you running? On 91-93 NSXs (NSXs with 15" front wheels), there's not much clearance between the caliper and wheel. Most aftermarket 15" wheels will not clear the brakes on an NSX.
It was actually 1997 when the brakes were changed.
You can try measuring the smaller of the two pistons. If it's 36mm, it's 91-96. If it's 34mm (smaller), it's 97+. Well, maybe. Apparently, it was listed the other way around in the NSX literature (and therefore, the NSX Prime FAQ). However, several folks reported it pre-97 NSXs having 36mm pistons, which might mean the NSX literature had it wrong.
Ponyboy, when you have time to get your brakes out, could you measure the smaller piston and confirm it's 36mm?
You can also look at the bracket. There's a picture of 91-96 caliper and bracket next to a 97-01 caliper and bracket here and here.

It's easy to tell the difference between the '91-96 front caliper and the '97+. On the '91-96, you can see the edge of the brake pad if you look at the caliper through the spokes of the wheel. On the '97+, you can't. Damn inconvenient...

My calipers off of a '91 NSX (with stock 15" up front and 16" rear, have the same markings, 16CL 15VN. The leading piston is 36mm and the trailing is 40mm.
Hope it helps.

Well I guess the stamp is the same on all NSX calipers then because I have the 34 mm NA2 Calipers with the larger monting bracket to clear the 16" wheels. Note that these calipers are also off of a Japanese NSX.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=720430 u can see the difference between the 2 calipers
