I'm waiting for pistons to come in so the block can be bored, honed and the motor put together(d16z6). Then it will be boost boost away...

Here is where my project is standing. Just waiting on spring to install my turbo kit and hondata. I thought an engine swap was enough for the car this year. I just bought it in Feburary 03.

Ive got about 60% of the parts I need to complete my GSR turbo build up. Its going to take even longer now because i am starting to notice that 100k+ miles and alot of racing has really taken a toll on the quality of my car. I am going to asses some details that make it a "nice car to drive" before I make it fast again. I don't think ill be boosting again until summer.

Good thing to do!

I want a fast car, but one nice to drive too. I figured its one reason for going FI. I won't have to drive around in a stripped out shell to go fast.

I bought my Revhard kit from Afterhourz at the begining of this year(January 2nd?), it is still sitting in my room waiting for some fuel management and internals.
AEM EMS is still to be ordered along with some other parts.
Hopefully by summertime my car will be up and running.

After about 30 months of messing with JRSC, custom turbo parts, greddy turbo kit, aem ems, uberdata, trips to jotech with no exhaust, getting the car broken into and gauges stolen, driving with a laptop tuning, fighting idle issues, buidling a wideband, building a narrowband, power circuits. aem ems tuning, and then retuning when the weather changed, the car dying for this reason or that, blowing charge pipes, having no traction, breathing gas fumes till i pass out, shooting gas all over the engine bay, driving around with no bumper, hearing detonation since i had no intercooler and stock plugs.... finally getting everything dialed in... and now I am daily drving my teg. Its in the parking lot right now.

Too bad I can only drive it from my locked and secure garage to a closed and secure parking lot at work.

Looking back at everything I've learned and friends I've made, its sooo worth it.

I'm Hondata tuned and running well. My project is complete until this motor gives out. Then it's buy a used LS motor and do it all over again.

I am about 6-8 weeks away from jumping on the Hondata craze

Im going to take this stock ls close to it's limits and see if I can make 300/250

I am running behind because i planne on already being hondata tuned in august but my job/money situation prevented that.

Yeah well, I planned on just starting my build before the years end. I started in September and I already bought a B18c1 rods rings pistons GE HD sleeves and bored to 84mm along with ferrera valvetrain components. And a good deal struck me on a car so i bought it. I am a little bit ahead of schedule so i gotta save for the fuel components in preeration for the turbo i will be running

finally completed and been running strong for 3 months. Over the winter replacing the 3-4 synchro sleeve set and getting some drag wheels, thats about it.
