b18a throttle body to D16a6 IM...??

b18a throttle body to D16a6 IM...??
Can this be done, as far as I can see it cannot. the bolts are not lining up. I have heard of the y8 manifold working, but tdo you need to change the throttlecable also? I have right now an A6 IM and a b18a TB. Still waiting to buy either a y8 or z6 IM if needed to make this work. TIA
