Wheel size on 99 accord LX
I wanted to know whether(sp) 18 x 7.5 rims will fit on a 99 LX accord without rubbing?
Also, how low a drop could the car undergo with this size rims.
What the largest size rim you can fit on this accord anyway?

the wheels will fit, but what kind of tire do you plan on using...you really don't want to get extremely low profile tires because your rims will be easily bent...you might want to look into 16's or 17's bud...better gas milleage, better performance, nicer ride, and you don't have to worry about every little bump in the road bending your wheels...
Ya, it's not for my car, i'm posting for my boy.
If it was me i'd leave it with 15's or 16's and call it a day. But he really wants 18's, and i dont care since its not my car.
But hey, give me suggestions on tire sizes for the 18 inch rims.
Also, what level drop would you suggest, since he wants it lowered to.

18x7.5 is probably the most common size guys use on the 6th gen Accords with 18s. That's what I have, no problems. The biggest factor on the best fit is offset. I'd really recommend a 45 offset if he can get one. That'll help decrease or eliminate rubbing, depending on your camber setting. 42 is livable, but I wouldn't get anything less that a 42 offset, and anything over 48 could be trouble as well. He'll find that most are 42, which will work fine.
225/40/18 would be his best tire size. Closest to the stock overall diameter.
As for a drop, it's kinda personal taste. He should do at least a sport drop. If you wants that slammed look, he can go lower. Mine is lowered about 2" up front, an 1.5" in the rear. You can see pics from the link in my sig, that'll at least give him an idea what it looks like.

Im running 18's with 225 / 40 / 18 tires and have no problems whatsoever im running em with a 1.5 inch drop too. Even with 3 people in the back I have no problems
