i know the doors of the HF are a lot lighter than those of the Si due to the difference in seatbelts,
the seat belts on the HF are placed on the "B" pillar where on the Si they are on the door.

since the seatbelts are on the door on the Si they had to beef up the doors to make it hold.

can i get HF seatblets put in my Si so i can use the HF doors?

 

I believe the seatbelt mount was only included on the doors of all 89-91 CRXs, regardless of model. All 88s had the seatbelts from the rear pillar.

The difference in weight from an HF and Si door is in the reinforcement bar as well, not just the seatbelt.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I could learn something new here.

 

Do crx doors fit a civic or do you have a crx too??
i dont sugjest doing the door swap unless you plan on getting 5point harness..
i wouldnt trust ghetto rigged seat belts.
