Default Thanks VaporTrail (Full Race and TiAL)

I left work tonight and headed up to Secret Services (VaporTrail's shop). He was cool enough to hold his Full Race manifold and TiAL wastegate for me. I wont be buying any more parts for a while but at least I have some good eye candy now Thanks again John!

Here is some other stuff VaporTrail is selling.

VaporTrail has had the wastegate for a while. It's a 40mm wastegate. I'm going to find out what lb spring in a little bit. I forgot to ask, lol.

I was wondering what those cuts are on the manifold flange. Is it so that the flange doesnt develop a crack later on down the road? or is it just for ease of welding?

you must be crazy. please dont tell me you are talking about the flange. the flanges are cut so they will allow for heat expansion instead of snapping studs off the head.

Thanks 2.2Lcivic.

Mase said it best.

"The reason behind it, SS is strong as ****, but its sensitive to temp changes (expands and contracts) and thats why the flange looks a little weird."

I'm going to have it decked Saturday.

I took the manifold to work today and was happy. Not one of the muscle car people said anything stupid about it going on a Honda.

"Dis hur going on da Honda race car"

VaporTrail and Full Race
