It actually wouldn't be hard to custom make a skid plate that didn't mount to the header and was universal.

i just welded 1/4 steel plate to the bottom of my dcsport header....about 2 years ago....

Believe it or not, a lot of people buy our Street skid plate and weld it to their header (DC, etc). When you do that it becomes "universal".

Yea I have the jdm 4-1 w/ race skid plate from helltoeauto. looks like the same thing. I haven't looked at my header yet from the ground up but I think it's doing its job well

I have the Fastline Skidplate for my JDM 4-1, it has saved my header many times from being damged. Very well spent $50 .
