When you advance or retard your camsprockets which way do you turn the sprocket.....Do you turn the sprocket towards the firewall to advance or do you turn the sprocket to the front of the car to advance...

Also is there any difference between a gsr intank fuel pump and a delsol s intank fuel pump...Wat is the gsr fuel pump rated at and wat is the delsol s fuel pump rated at...

if you turn the center of the cam gear towards the front of the car you will advance the cam.

Why is it that you move the distributor to the firewall to advance your timing and you move the sprocket to the front of the car to advance the camsprocket...just wonder why are the the opposite...

the engine rotates counter clockwise looking from the driver side so moving the distributor towards the firewall will advance the ignition timing or make the spark plug fire earlier. Now imagine the cam rotating counter clockwise while you see the engine spin from the driver side, if you move the cam gear towards the front then it will open the valves sooner. hope that made sense, i'm not too good with words
