1988 or 1991 HF CRX

Default 1988 or 1991 HF CRX

What is the difference between a 1988 HF CRX and a 1991 HF CRX? Which would be preferrable? I have a chance to buy both and wonder which would be better to fix up...

88 is better. As mentioned above, lighter car, which makes it a quicker car w/ the proper mods.

what do you plan on doing with this crx? if you are going to strip it down, then it doesn't matter which one you go with. stripped down, the only crx that weighs more is the si, with the sunroof, but even that can be taken out and then it becomes lighter than the other cars. if you are just looking for a car to fix up and drive, the 91 crx parts are all interchangable with all the 89-91 crx models. the 88 has to be vehicle specific to that year. it really depends on what you want to do with this car.
