1992 to 1994 Spec Dash Swap
Hi guys, I'm not a regular here so I appologise if this has been done to death.
I tried checking through the search and even went back over loads of old pages in the hope I'd find some answers without bothering you all too much.
Anyways, I have a 1992 JDM Si VTEC with the boring white on black tach and speedo, I've just stripped a mate's 1994 JDM VTEC and have robbed him of his backlit dials.
What I'd like to know is.....
a) Has anyone got a wiring diagram for both of these dash's or can someone point me in the direction of a conversion diagram
b) Are there any pitfalls that I might come up against during the swap.
My 92 is the ultra light model with no sunroof, abs, 4ws or T/C (it did have the climate control but I've junked that)
My mates 94 was all singing all dancing every option box ticked ultra heavy model.
Any help appreciated guys
Cheers

Search for the E.L. guage swap. The guages he has are electro luminescent and everyone wants them. Your a lucky guy to have found one. It's a pretty easy swap if you have all the right parts, and it sounds like you do/can get them. Good luck.
Cheers mate but that's what I have already tried searching for but nothing comes up as a match anywhere (unless I'm doing something wrong with your search engine???)
Any ideas?
There are loads of those gauges available over here as there are more JDM cars imported than original UK registered stuff.
JDM stuff is the coolest though

I stand corrected.
either way...
Can you see that these gauges are different? They're not "glowing" (as I've heard some people describe it)

my gauges look exactly like the ones pictured, except for the digital milage, and I have a 92 si...
unless there is some other difference that I'm not seeing here.

As far as I know - All the E.L gauges have got digi mileometer.
If you can read your gauges without the igntion on then you have the standard white on black boring looking jobbies.
