What Rpm Should Accord Idle At

sales in the accord section, and frequently asked questions usually get deleted, perhaps that was the reason for any previous thread deletions?
anyways, your car should idle at about 650-750 rpms when the engine is warm. 1.5k is normal for a cold engine, but that's definetely way too high if that's what it idles at when it's warm.

here the logic
if the honda with most hp stock then it wouldnt be cheap(nsx, s2000)
if you want a honda with most hp then it wouldnt easy(boosted dohc)
if you want the lightest chassis then it wouldnt have alot stock hp(89crx hf)
if you still think there's such honda, then i think you will be better off going to never never neverland with mj.
it's all about the zonda
Thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>

I dont know about that, because i have owned a 95 Accord Ex before and everytime i turned it on when cold it always idled at about 2k and when warm at 1k, and now i currently own a 94 Accord Ex and its doing the same thing as the 95 Ex. So i think when warm 1 k is normal, and when cold 2k, but i might be wrong, however, thats just my opinion.

Well it is kind of cold. What could I do to idle it down?? Also all I want to know is a good car for the money. Cause I think the accord really wont make a really good street machine even with an H22. But I guess I will have to do my own research what about a 97 Acura Integra Type R? Could that be what Im looking for? That seems like a light car affordable with alot of HP. Why do you have to get so technical with the questions? Geez
