Default Why no other F22's????

Whilst I realise that not everyone is Bisi, why doesnt anyone run F motors?

Surely a milder setup than his would still run good numbers?? The head must flow (when ported), they're cheap and readily available...

Any input???

Good question, I've often wondered the same thing. My best guess is that people stick with what they're familiar with, and what tuners are familiar with.

cause SOHC is gay

j/k............, I don't know why others don't jump on the bandwagon on the F-motors. Availablty is there, I guess you don't see alot of guys running them, supply and demand.

ive thought about it alot for my hatch...

There cheap swaps to find, and they do have a ton of torque, But you would have to do h22 mounts ($600) just to get it to go in the car. The aftermarket is finally starting to make more parts for the f22's. Before crower made the only rods and they were 700 now there is a nice set for 300. Cams are available now, and pistons, along with springs/retainers...So if you could find a decent f22 and rebuild that with 12:1 comp, a good cam and an h23 tranny...i bet you would be doing low 13s all day long.

After the all motor z....i think an f22b1 boosted in the hatch is next

One of the main reasons is that people are afraid of change and anything that is diffrent....we will be offering the adapter plate set-ups verry soon......so it will be verry easy to swap with your existing tranny

Look forward to the whole BISIMOTO line of F-series parts

actually we offer several F22 parts... Importbuilders carries a little line up for them as well as others.. you just have to do a bit more research.. you can find many accord guys now sticking it out with the f22 over swapping in the h22 and costing an arm and leg

Is that a F to B adapter or the F to D adapter a la Bisi?

A complete conversion kit will be offered soon. Kit includes an adapter plate, a custom machined fly wheel and mount. I heard the news from someone hahaha

I know there is quite a few F22's running around but I was sorta meaning swaps into lighter cars and drag racing. Bisi must be making near/over 300whp. Surely a streetable 240 to 250 could be enticed out of one of these motors.....

come on man be serious.
f22b's are single overhead cam. everyone knows that dohc 2 cammers make twice as much power as one. f22's have lots of torque which everyone knows doesn't mean anything. it's all about horespower. also bisimoto is a mad scientist with no ryme or reason he's just lucky. right?

m.a.d.
