Default Is the B18B1 ECU harness needed when swaping in EG6?

I was wondering if the ecu harness for the B18b1 is needed when swapping into a 92 civic hatchback. Since it does not have vtec, i am pondering if the harness needed. I also remember reading somewhere, i think, that the LS ecu (p75) should plug right in with no cutting or any other modifications. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

what year engine do you have look on the head for a stamnp wiht a circle and 9/5 or something like that and tell me. but your harness should plug up to enigne and ecu and you have to run VTEC oil pressure black wire to ground and the other wire to pin out D6 on the ecu and then the know sensor blue wire by the oil filter goes to d3 then i don't remember were the Green Yellow VTEC goes and you might have to wire a four wire o2 sensor then you good.
are you getting ready to do this?
what stage are you at?
good luck

If your car is a Non-VTEC Civic there is no need to use the harness off the LS. Use yours, each harness is exactly the same. Oh by the way I have a great ECU for that LS swap. It came out of my DX when I did the swap from non-VTEC to VTEC. It is a reprogrammed DX ECU with high revs and maps. Email or PM me.
