Default what exhaust choice is better

i have a 92 honda prelude and i'm trying to decide what exhaust i should get. What i wanted to do is tilt my exhaust to the right and i was going to do that by buying the tail of the exhaust and getting custom piping from the down pipe back. But then i thought about getting a full exhaust but with that i want to know if they can tilt it for me?!!! does anyone know which is the best way or cheapest way? Which gives me the most power?

why would you want your exhaust tilted? tilted exhaust are used on cars such has civic hatchbakcs and DA(90-93) integras so they can have a proper clearence. what kind of exhaust system are you looking for? quiet? looks? gains?

Yeah, because tilting the exhaust adds horsepower.

Kind of off subject, but If you DID tilt ur exhaust piping DOWN, it would theoretically increase power, because you use gravitational potential energy/gravitational force to "pull" your mass flow "exhaust air" out.

hmm not sure about that one...would gravity really affect airflow in a noticeable way? i guess theoretically, yes...

what i've been thinking is, how come no one's ever thought about using a tiny direct drive exhaust fan to suck the air out of the exhaust system? hook it up the battery, connect it somewhere under the chassis, get much better flow....

YES, theoretically air has a MASS, therefore the affect of gravity is very real, albeit slight compared the the power of pistons pushing gas out, so that's why i said theoretically, it might be a topic of interest for AEM, or some R&D company.

I believe the answer to ur question bad monkey lies in the fact that as you have a fan pulling air out of ur exhaust. Sometimes, the exhaust valves are closed, and the fan would actually interfere with the natural pulses of exhaust gases. In addition, the point is to create more power, but u neglected that the fan actually USES electrical power, so would this added weight and power depleter really be worth it? Probabaly not, as most car companies found out.

the pulses, yes i think would be a problem, but i'm not so sure about the electrical power being so much of a drain. bah, anyway.

i have a feeling this guy only means that he wants his muffler tilted, such as an apexi n1.

i'm looking for looks and gains. I thought about getting a carbon fiber exhaust. I also want to sound like the N1 -if its not actually the Apexi-

Greyout, what is ur education???
Once u give me some respect ill give U some..
Look it up in a thermodynamics book... When dealing with Mass flow, (something ur uneducated *** probably never heard of), gravitational potential energy is something that is taken into account. ie. when mass moves up or down, potential energy is converted to kinetic energy and vice versa. Yes ur basic physics knowledge probably knows when dropping a ball from a building, it increases in speed....YES because there is POTENTIAL energy which converts to kinetic and YES gas (which is also a mass) when moves down speeds up as well! WOW get a technical education or blow hot air on ur own face.

heh i think air being forced out of the exhaust pipe by means of combustion is stronger than a fan, gravity (exhaust gas's mass is so small it wouldn't make a difference) or hot air...
