why could the check engine light be on? What to do about and will it hurt it?

 

mayb u uplugged a sensor and didnt plug it back in?

 

check engine light on the rsx is "only for emissions purposes"(quoted by the acura service guy)...now go tighten your gas cap to 3 clicks past tight or your CEL will come on(seriously...it will).

 

I will install a V2 on my type s tonight, I will let you know if the check engine light comes on .....

 

im sure this question always pops up...sorry to ask it....but i don't know the answer...which is better though...the aem cai or the aem v2 on the rsx-s??

The V2 is better because there is a velocity stack on the V2. I drove a car my car with the CAI and it's still good. I recommend after you install it you unplug the battery and wait for 30 secs. That will make the car perform at it's best

 

NO check engine light, but when v-tec kicks in very loud.....nice sound.

 

all it is the battery. The V2 almost hit my friends steering column
