H22 swap questions in ek???????
whats up, i was thinking of doing an h22a swap into my 00 civic ex. i was wondering if you all could let me know on what all is needed for the swap and what kind of dollar figures we are talking about for the parts and engine minus labor. also if anyone has done the swap could give some input that would be great.

I have an full h22 ek swap (engine & tranny). I will include everything axles, mounts, & shifter. With complete skunk2 headpackage (stainless nitrided valves, Valve springs, cam gears, & titanium ratainers) & skunk2 stage II cams & hotshot 4-1 race header. Comes with harness. Has about 60k on engine 3k on fully rebuilt head. Will also include the hondata chip & a/c braket for civic. Full plug & play for 3500obo.

The only person that has bought anything from me on H-T was MWGSR. I'm serious though. I'm gonna take some pics & post them up.
I also have and obd2 p13 that goes with the swap (from a 96 prelude) without the immobilizer (payed way too much). Although my car passed obd2 emmissions last year with this ecu. I wired the motor to run off the obd2 ecu so that I could plug it in and not worry about emmissions, and it is still the same way. All I did was buy the adapter harness for obd1 & got hondata on it.

Everyone that I've seen ever since I got mine directly from Hotshot almost 2 years ago, the collector is reduced like the top picture, where as mine was about 2.75" all the way back.... big one, but then Hotshot said that it was also one of the last "race" H22A headers that they had made for that particular batch. Oh well, just pointing that out .

Thanks bro. Yeah I'm losing interest in the honda. I just wanna play with AWD for a little while. I wanted to sell the swap & put it back to stock & buy another car.
Damn I must not have payed that good of attention about the header but damn I wonder why they changed it...

Yep the clutch & flywheel is oem. I even have the report (its almost like a carfax) that has the vin of the car & shows that it was salvaged & shows the original miles that the car had on it and everything. It was bought from H-motorsonline.com.
Edit: The engine & tranny have never been split from eachother. The head is the only thing that has been touched.
I have the front racing brace too, but never put it back on after I put the header in.
