Default engine swap

hi, my name is josue im currently working on a 1990 honda accord wich needs a new enigine. Anyways i got all the bolts and most of the **** out.my question is if i need to take the engine out wit the tranny cuse its a 5 speed. ive looked threw alldata and thats what they tell me. Im just wondering is theres is anyway of taking the engine out by itself wit out the tranny?? thx for your help

It would probably be easiest to take it out in whole, on my car 90 lx its an auto and the tranny is right next to the header......have to disconnect linkage, but I would recommend using a helms manual or a chiltons manual for step by step. Hope this helps.
