Christmas arrived early! My new Boots!!!
Thought I'll share this with fellow Rs..
I posted a couple weeks ago about using 225 50 15 or 205 50 15s. I end up with these as I think 225s would be too wide for the stock ITR wheel. Wish I had the extra $$ to also go for some lightweight 7x15s
but these will have to do for now on the stockers that I use for strip and circuit use. Cost me a pretty penny

I've got some of those in the garage.
Gonna be putting them on my SSR Comps for the next Expo.
Where did you get yours and what's the treadwear number?

They are £125 ea which is around USD200 each. A lot of high powered street cars here use them for fast road and circuit use and really rate them

i don't think an R rated tire and azenis are even in the same class, more like how do they compare to victoracers 24hr heatcycled, Toyo RA1's, advan a032r etc etc

Gotta pay to play!
If not that, then what's your point?
I'd bet they work much better than Azenis ( or at least I'm banking on it)!
Just hoping that keeping them in the garage over the winter won't mess them up.

Things like this are not always measured in a linear manner!
Let's think exponentially, it might take 3X the cost to get a 50% (let's say) improvement.
Just a matter if it's "worth it" to you, and how/where you drive.

I've gone through 2-3 sets of the A032R (used mostly on the street), so I don't have to change wheels for the occassional track event/ITR Expo.
I'll be mounting the Dunlops on my SSR Comps (15 x 7.5) shortly for use this coming Spring and at Expo 4 in AZ.
I recently gave what was left of my last set of 032R's to DR Cortez (Jamie) so that 1) he could finish them off at the track 2) to make room on these wheels for those fresh Dunlops (which I'd gotten from Rodney quite some time ago).
