He mentioned that the wheels he's selling are forged.

The Comps are a weird hybrid process that allows them to bend rather easily, as many ITR owners have discovered to their chagrin.

The extra weight might be worth it for some people, and 15# isn't very heavy for 16" wheels. Even my Spoons are 12#, heavier than the Comps.
