Does anyone know the difference between the mercedes and ford implementations of the garrett t3 turbo? I'm looking into buying one. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Which size T3 were you refering to ? the ford-garrett is either a .60/.48 or .60/.63, and both are 60-trims.

I have no clue about the benz-garrett T3..

 

mainly the physical characteristics, actually. I guess I should have been more specific. The person I'm talking to says the mercedes version has a different discharge flange. I'm hoping someone can verify whether this is so, and if the two are physically different, how hard will it be to get parts for the mercedes one. The ford one is more common, so I know parts are not a problem, but it would cost me more.
