Default JDM fender brace... help w/ install

the usdm brace will not fit, so i bought the JDM one... but i cant the USDM one off!! the bolt in the pic just spins and spins.... any help? the second pic is a zoomed out view of the area... thanks...

quick bursts with an impact to take it out...

replace the bolt, chase the threads in the hole with a tap.

No, impact gun

not a .45 colt but a mechanic's tool, like a air ratchet.

look inside the eng. compartment you should see a square nut on the other end of that bolt. now if its spinning along with the bolt then all you need to do is hold that nut with a wrench or vise grip.

ohh.. the thread on the bolt is striped. then try and put something to pry the bolt or bracket out while you unscrew the bolt. you might get lucky and it catches and it will come out. if not then you will need to cit the head of the bolt then drill out the old bolt. or cut the wel of the nut and just use a new bolt and nut.

I say make it easy on yourself and just drill the bolt.

maybe it was cross threaded when they assemble the car. from the assembly line.
