Salvage Title
I have been hearing mixed information on this subject. I know what salvage title means, but I have heard from a fair amount of people that if the damage is minor enough that you can take it to a bodyshop or back to the DMV and have the salavage title removed. Please correct me if I am wrong . . . any information would be of some great help. I am trying to help my friend out . . . . .
Thanks In Advance

Braddah .. Neva knew there was a DMV in Hawaii.. But no once issued as a salvaged car you will have to get it road worthy first before tags can be issued.. but just FYI you cannot change it in that state but there are ways around it.. if you transfer from one state to another then you can change the title.

this is true. Once given salvage title you cannot change it unless you move to another state. Unless you got a really good hookup at the dmv. But wouldnt your insurance know if it changes from salvage title to clean title??

false, if done legally, from state to state, the brand on the title will always say salvage.
