im pretty sure this has been covered before...anyways my gf gave me a free pair of 6.5 alpine type s speakers for the fronts which i tried installing in my car today and the screw pattern didnt match up..i also had a problem with the clearance, i believe the magnet was a bit big? i was thinking about drilling new holes in the panel and boring out the speaker pod in order for the speaker to fit. What have some of you ek owners done? thanks...

 

just cut out the speaker pod so the magnet will fit and drill new holes, did this before with no problem
