what are your d16y8 with i/h/e plus nitrous times. my friend has an EX with boltons and plans to run a 50 shot and was just wondering what the majority of you run. he plans to race a jdmb18c1 ek hatch, not sure of that outcome. any with experiences of this please let me know. thanks alot

 

i would imagine that the hatch would win...

 

im gonna guess and say mid 14's. there are alot of variables here. i have a z6 that will be cammed and 50 shot wet that im hopin to get mid to low 14's out of. so y8 w/ bolt ons should be a little slower ....

 

i run a y7 on 5to6 pounds and i run 15.0 at high altitude and i raced my freind running a hx withe intake header exhaust and nx wet 50 shot and he barely beat me from a first gear roll

 

Y7 with ZEX 75-shot. 15.048 @ forgot. However, my motor bit the dust on that particular run. This was in a 2000 CX with AEM cai, DC 4-1 header, and Tanabe RM catback.

 

14.2 with ZEX 75 shot (rated at crank) and street tires. I'm going up to 125 shot and slick and shooting for low 13's possibly high 12's. Bump up to a 75 shot and you should take the hatch depending on drivers. You are definately making more power than the hatch, its the weight of the EX coupe that is your and my downfall.

 

00 stock ex coupe with 50 shot ran a low 15 without nos same car ran16.3-16.4's.
