wow who the hell is charging 37g cdn for one of these. The list is $31900(cdn) for an S and that is what they are selling for here. I would find a new dealer if that is what they want for one.
If you are in canada we have a premium model also that looks like an S with 160hp engine and is about $28000

Since you live in Canada, I would NOT recommend getting one (yet), unless you have another car to drive all winter.
There are no fender linings on the front wheels - meaning that all the snow, salt, slush, mud, rocks, ice, etc. thrown up by the front wheels will build up and work itself all the way into the engine bay.
I give the car a lifespan of about two winters where I live (New Hampshire). I'm waiting until next year when they come with fender linings due to all the complaints.

I'm not sure, but I think the new civics are all like that as well.
Being much more of an all-around car driven by clue-bags, I'm sure we'll start hearing reports of breakdowns caused by debris jammed into the engine bay.
On the other hand, if you live in a climate where you don't get snow, I bet it's great for getting cool air in and out from under the hood. That and the minor weight savings.
I suppose there is the possibility that the canadian models have the proper fender linings. Honda's done that before - offering winter features standard on canadian models that aren't available in the U.S. If that's the case I would seriously consider making the 3 hour trip to Montreal to buy my RSX. Of course, the nearest Acura dealership is about 1.5 hours away anyway, so it wouldn't be all that much farther. I don't know about import taxes & all that crap, though.
All I know is sure would be nice to have the heated seats in my prelude . . . . . it's a long winter. A better rear defroster certainly would help as well. The stock one is pretty wussy.
