Hello guys. My vw golf today broke down. the clutch cable apparently snapped. I need to buy a new car and I have decided to purchase a civic coupe or civic sedan. I will be purchasing the base model only with air conditioner and a 5 speed. I want to know how you guys like the civic and which one i should choose? civic coupe or sedan?the coupe is cheaper. also how is the craftmanship and built quality and reliability of the car so far?

If it's between a coupe or sedan, I'd get a coupe.

 

Reliability? You've got to be kidding me. I can't believe you just asked about the reliability of a Honda!

 

How about a hatch?

 

They should be exactly the same in quality, etc. The only choice is your needs, and style. The few hundred $$ is nothing in the long run. The only thing I would note is that the coupe can get dings easy because there is no sdie molding. But I would still get the coupe.

 

if you're looking for a car that is pretty much comparable to your old golf you might as well get a hatch(EK). Those can be really quick too...that would be my choice if I had to do it over again.

 

out of a coupe or sedan id get a Coupe EX..youll enjoy having vtec and there is mods galore available for it...

if you go for a hatch get a CX(base model) or an SI(5th gen)

5th Gens are the most popular id say because they arent very expensive and dont require mounts to make a b series engine fit...

I myself prefer the 4th gen Civic Sedan & CRX but the hatch seems weird lookin to me sometimes...
