Default Ca smog test

Hey everyone i have a Apex'i N1 exhaust for my 5th gen lude. I was wondering if it would pass smog in Ca if i have no other modifications to my engine. Has anyone tested and passed? I checked the Apex'i website but didn't find anything. Thanks a lot.

you will pass the test if your cat is still there.

exhaust does not have anything to do with your smog

yea, like stated above, your exhaust system should not have anything to do with smog, as long as you got a cat to clean up the exhaust gases you should be good.

I forgot to mention that it is a full catback exhaust, not just a muffler. would i still pass smog? thanks in advance.

it would pass if you took the exhaust off all together. the exhaust has no effect on emissions, just noise...and the temp would be alot higher too I guess. As long as the stock cat is in there emission level should be the same.

btw - does a carsound pass smog in CA?

98vtec: I think this is like the 2nd link I'm giving you lol, hope it works if you still wanna buy new. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=674585
