Default Re: B-SERIES V-TEC CAMS (lsvtecrocket)

just as an example... we just built a head for customer with skunk stage 1's, springs and retainers, and a new mani. All stcok internals on a OBD2 GSR and the car made 180whp and can pull to 8600 no problem. I would recomend getting new spring and retainers and alos using ARP rod bolts if you want to rev them past 8k on a regular basis.
Either cam will be good but the Peak #'s are not always the only thing to look at... you want to look at the whole power band...the car i was talking about made mroe top end but then we backed it off so as not so sacrafice midrange.... I think that IB webpage has a bunch of dynos on there. And i'm sure other will chime in soon. Good luck on the build up man....and dont cheap out cause u will pay for it later !
