Default Coolant Sensor

Hi - swaped in a '99 type R engine into my '00 GSR after I hydrolocked the engine.
Swap went well - insurance paid so had it done at the dealership..except up here
in Ohio dealer dumb with anything thats not completely stock.

They used my GSR engine harness; and I provoided them with the correct
type r ecu. The car is tripping check engine light - and now the VTEC won't work
and the car idels really high.

When they ran the codes - it was the coolant sensor; which they never plugged
in since the thermostat housing does not have sensor built into it.

I was told I coudl either extend the plug to reach the coolant sensor on the back of
the type R block; or swap out the thermostat housing. I didn't have a thermostat
housing to swap so I decided to extend the harness.
I cannot find where on the type R block I'm supposed to plug this in..
I found something next to the oil filter which looks like it could work; but i'm not sure; its not threaded; and I think I have to remove the hex bolt.

I took some pics of what i'm talking about - if anyone can help/or give me
suggestions i would much apperciate it.

Why don't you just use the GSR thermostat housing?
