I installed a Kenwood Z828 into the R this weekend. Thanks to Mike (TypeRmsm) and some good suggestions I was able to get the deck into the R using only parts from the stock deck; no install kits or anything. Here are some pics; what does everyone think?

Grandprix, that's a police scanner. Saved my *** 3 times this weekend alone!! It was well worth the $100 to get it

 

 

It looks good. Glad to see you didn't use one of those hideous dashkits from MeTra of American International.

 

The carbon panel is actually a clear piece of plexi with carbon fibre attached on the back. My friend knows a guy in Kansas that makes a bunch of CF stuff. The piece I got was left over from a big stereo install in a Civic SI.
