no exhaust is a direct bolt on.
with the cat off ther is about 8" from the header, to the exhaust.
It's not really hard to modify, any muffler shop can handle it.
if you keep the cat, fine, if you ditch the cat, it makes the mounting easier, but may make your car illegal, for emissions.
